Zachary Jay Daniels Smith, age 30, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025. He was born Zachary Jay Daniels on November 8, 1994 to Carla Smith. He worked at Walmart in Pontotoc, MS. Zach loved gaming and could often be found with a controller in hand playing alongside his friends.

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 11 AM at Houston Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Dakota Murphy will be officiating. Houston Funeral Home will oversee services.

Zach is survived by his mother, Carla Smith of Houston, MS; his sister, Jennifer Cooper of Oakland, TN; and a multitude of friends who he thought of as family.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Larry Smith.
