Mr. William Grady Eldridge JR. passed from his earthly home to his heavenly home on September 11, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford. He was born to William Grady Eldridge Sr. and Martha Pauline Grayson Eldridge on October 26, 1934, in Waynesboro, MS.

Mr. Eldridge was a member of Houston First Baptist Church. He was a graduate of MSU and a devoted Bulldog fan. He served his country in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He retired in 2000 as County Coordinator for the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, soil conservation unit.

A funeral service will be held, Tuesday, September 13, 2022, 11:00 AM At Houston Funeral Home in Houston, Ms. with Bro. Kenny Adams officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of service. Burial will follow at Chickasaw Memorial Gardens in Houston, Ms.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Holifield, John Lofton, Charlie Knox, Cole Eldridge, Chase Eldridge, Ben Riley Eldridge, and Jeremiah Eldridge.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mr. Grady's Sunday school class.

Mr. Eldridge is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 64 years, Anna Jo Riley Eldridge of Houston, MS; one daughter, Suzanne (Bobby) Knox of Ellisville, MS; two Sons, Barry (Susan) Eldridge of Houston, MS and Chris Eldridge of Pontotoc, MS; eight grandchildren, Katie Anna (Kyle) Holifield, Kerri Ashland (John) Lofton, Charlie (Abbie) Knox, Cole (Alissa) Eldridge, Chase Eldridge, Cara Jill Eldridge, Ben Riley (Victoria) Eldridge, and Jeremiah Eldridge; three great grandchildren, Eliza Knox Holifield, Averie-Jolee Eldridge, and Gracie Elizabeth Eldridge.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, William Grady SR. and Martha Pauline Eldridge; daughter in law, Connie Eldridge; five sisters, Louise, Pauline (Polly), Ida, Sally, and Faye.
