Amp Doss

Houston- Mr. William Anthony "Amp" Doss, 53, passed away on June 12, 2021, at his home in Houston, MS. Mr. Doss was born in Houston, MS on February 08, 1968, to Frank Daniel "Deter" Doss and Barbara Eaton. He worked as an assistant manager for Doss Wholesale. He was a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church.

Funeral Services will be Monday, June 14, 2021, at Houston Funeral Home at 4:00 P.M. with Bro. Steve Lampkin officiating.

Visitation will be Monday, June 14, 2021, from 2:00 P.M.- 4:00 P.M. at Houston Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Macedonia United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Doss is survived by his two daughters, Jade Doss and Scarlett Doss, both of Houston: his sister, Nicole (Amber) Doss of Tupelo; his brother, Rickey (Shelia) Doss of Houston; his brother-in-law, Sam McWhirter of Pontotoc; and his nieces Misty (Brad) Dobbs of Pontotoc, and Lexie and Autumn Doss, both of Houston.

Mr. Doss is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Frankie McWhirter.

Pallbearers will be Jay Griffin, Jamie Springer, Gene Griggs, AL Smith, Charles Crowley, Johnny Linley, and Brad Dobbs and Rock Eaton.

Honorary Pallbearer will be David Griffin.
