Watson, Wilbur Ray - Houston Wilbur Ray Watson, 66, passed away November 23, 2016, at his home in Houston, Mississippi. He was born July 20, 1950 in Pontotoc, Mississippi to Raymond Austin Watson and Doris Inez Bowles Watson. He was a retired maintenance worker for American Furniture.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church with Bro. Wade Mathis officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Pam A. Dendy Watson of Houston, three sons; Robby (Tammy) Watson of Pontotoc, Garland Peewee Watson of Houston, and Scotty (Wendi) Watson of Kimberling City, MO, and one brother; Sammy (Carolyn) Watson of Houston, Four grandchildren; Audrey, Christian, Hunter-Grace, Harley Ray, and Megan, and three great-grandchildren; Henlee, Layah, and Adabelle.
Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Doris Watson.
Visitation will be Friday, November 25, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Houston Funeral Home and visitation from 1:00 P.M. until time of service November 26, 2016 at Pleasant Ridge Church.
Pallbearers include, Tim King, Jim King, Lance Dendy, Matt Watson, Dennis Chilcoat, Kenneth Big Daddy Cruse, Mike King, and Josh Langford. Honorary pallbearers include, Gabriel Womack, Aaron Womack, and Payton Murphree.
