Watson, Weenona - Weenonah Lindsey Yarbrough Watson, 96, passed away December 31, 2016, at Floy Dyer Nursing Home in Houston, Mississippi. She was born September 29, 1920 in Woodland, Mississippi to James Andrew Lindsey and Dona Margaret Millsaps Lindsey. Mrs. Watson was a military spouse.
At the family s request, there will be no memorial service.
Arrangements were handled by Houston Funeral Home.
Survivors include her son, Hugh (Anita) Yarbrough of Houston, Daughter-in-law, Gail Watson, of Athens, AL, and Son-in-law, Curt Bayer of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, grandchildren, Tad Watson, Doug Watson, Jennifer King, Weenonah Miller, Talmage Bayer, Curtis Bayer and Dona Yarbrough and 14 great-grandchildren.
Nonah Watson is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Hugh A. Yarbrough, and Talmadge Loyd Watson; one daughter, Weenonah Yarbrough Bayer, one son; Talmadge Loyd Watson Jr. sisters, Olive Parsons, Laura Baker, Mary Wick, Louise Denton; Brothers; James Lindsey, and Benjamin Lindsey.
