Huffman, Wayne - Houston Wayne Evans Huffman, 67, died Thursday, November 6, 2014, at his home in Houston.
He was born September 5, 1947, in Houston to Evans Eugene Huffman and Mattie Irene Criddle Huffman. He was an employee of Leggett & Platt for 42 years and retired as a plant manager.
The funeral service is Sunday, November 9, 2014, at 2:00 pm at Houston Funeral Home in Houston with Rev. Bobby Brock officiating. Burial will follow at Chickasaw Memorial Gardens in Houston. Houston Funeral Home in Houston is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his daughters, Kim Haire and John Turner of Coffeeville, Emily McGee and Donny McGee, Jr. of Houston, Mendy Coleman and Jeremy Coleman of Houston; his sisters, Bennie May Lewis and Willie Lewis of Houston, Annie Ruth Brown of Houston; his brother, David Huffman and Maybaline Huffman of Pontotoc; his grandchildren, Felicia and Robbie Hamblin, Victoria Coleman, Dexter McGee, Nathan McGee, Riley Davis, Kinzley Griffin; and his special friend, Darvin Stafford.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Robert Lee Huffman; his sisters, Kathleen Huffman and Walterine Brown.
Visitation is Saturday, November 8, 2014, from 5-7 pm and Sunday from 12 Noon until the 2:00 pm funeral service time at Houston Funeral Home.
