Kirby, Wauweese - Houston Wauweese McQuary Kirby, 82, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Floy Dyer Nursing Home in Houston. She was born July 7, 1933 in Chickasaw County to Petty Childs McQuary and Clara Belle Neal McQuary. She was a retired from Franklin Manufactoring and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Atlanta, MS.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 12, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Patrick Collins, Rev. Jeff Gilder and Rev. Michael Mooneyham officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Atlanta, MS.
Houston Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include daughters, Louise Sanford of Mantee and Jamie (Jimmy) Smith of Houston; sons Bobby Franklin (Betty) Kirby and Danny (Dianne) Kirby, both of Woodland; sister, Clara Mae (Dale) Mooneyham of Houston; grandchildren, Stacy Faulkner, Daniel Kirby, Hope Kirby, Sean Kirby, Christy McCoy, Beverly Burton, Emily Haire, Dawn Cockell, Michelle Crigler and Bo Smith; great-grandchildren, Addi Marie Faulkner, Mattie Klaire Faulkner, Lexie Kirby, Dustin Sanford, Tyler Haire, Lexie Haire, Bobby Seifert, Kayla Seifert, Heather Ahrenholtz, Conner Burton, Courtney Burton, Hunter Smith, Ainslyn Smith, Addi Smith and Jacie Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Franklin Kirby, brother J.C. Doss, grandson, Ricky Smith and son-in-law David Sanford.
Pallbearers are Sean Kirby, Daniel Kirby, Michael Mooneyham, Daylon Mooneyham, Scotty Kilgore, Conner Burton, and Johnny Burton.
An Honorary Pallbearer will be Tracy Whitt.
Visitation will be Friday, February 12, 2016 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM service time at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Atlanta, MS.
