Griffin, Walker Wayne - 86 of Houston, , died at the Trace Regional Hospital in Houston on Thursday, March 15th.Visitation is scheduled for Friday, March 16th at Houston Funeral HomeFuneral Services are scheduled for 10:30 Saturday, March 17th, at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Danny Bryant and Rev. Wade Mathis. Burial will be at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Mr. Griffin was a staff Sargeant in the army during WWII and was awarded the Silver Star and a Purple Heart , he also was a charter member of the Rhodes Chapel Fire Department.
