Van Evans Clark, age 82, passed away August 4, 2025, in Baldwin, MS. He was born June 22, 1943, to James Thomas Clark and Esta Alma McKibbon Clark in Houston, MS. He served in the Airforce as an airman and was a retired transportation driver.

A Memorial service will be held Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Houston Funeral Home with Dr. Randy Rhinehart officiating. We are honored to serve the Clark family.

Van Evans is survived by children, Jason Clark of Omaha, Nebraska, Van Evans Clark, Jr. of Maine, James Paul Clark of Maine and Tammy Welch of Jackson, TN; his brother, Jesse Mack Clark of Indiana; and his 13 grandchildren.

Van Evans was preceded in death by his parents, James Thomas and Esta Alma Clark, his daughter, Tina Beecham, his 3 siblings, Byron Clark, Sr., Alma Anne Parker, and Waureen Heflin and one grandchild.
