Tommy Davis

Houlka- Mr. Thomas 'Tommy" Lavert Davis Jr., 84, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Pontotoc, MS. He was born on December 27, 1933 in Mississippi to Thomas Lavert Davis and Nora Ellen Holladay Davis. He was a member of Houlka First Baptist Church in Houlka, Mississippi and the former owner of Astro Lounger Furniture in Houlka. Tommy was an avid Ole Miss fan, hunter and Sportsman who loved his family dearly.

The Funeral Service will be Friday, February 23, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Houlka First Baptist Church in Houlka, Mississippi with Rev. David Blackwell officiating.

A private family burial will follow at Holladay Cemetery in Houlka, MS.

Houston Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his daughter, Lisa (Clay) Clayton of Okolona, MS, his daughter-in-law, Tammy Davis of Okolona, MS, his sister-in-law, Thelma Ann Davis of Houlka, MS, his brother-in-law, Raymond (Cathy) Paden of Houlka, MS, his grandchildren, Leslie (Patrick) Ridgeway, Jacob (Rachel) Washington, Hunter (Lauren) Davis, Tyler Davis, Davis (Kelsey) Clayton, Grace Clayton, and his great-grandchildren, Frances Hollingsworth, Knox Washington, and Lexington Davis.

Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Wilma Lane Davis, and his son, Lynn Davis.

Visitation will be Friday, February 23, 2018 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Houlka First Baptist Church in Houlka, Mississippi.

Pallbearers will be, Jacob Washington, Hunter Davis, Tyler Davis, Davis Clayton, Vic Davis, Jess Davis, and Danny Chapman.
