Dendy, Sue Boyd - 97, of Tupelo, formerly
of Houston, the retired owner of Dendy Equipment Company, died at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo on Friday, June 22, 2012.Visitation is scheduled for Monday, June 25, 2012, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Houston Funeral Home. The funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at Houston Funeral Home with Rev. Sammy McMillen officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. She is the widow of Mr. Derwood Dendy. Mrs. Dendy is survived by her daughters, Derwanda "Tuggy" Randolph of Arlington, TN, Jean Morton of Tupelo, Susan Dendy of Pagosa Springs, Colorado, and Ann and John Sargent of Tuson, AZ; her sons, Bill and Barbara Bentz Dendy of El Macero, California, Sid and Robbie Horn Dendy of Houston, Butch and Carean Thompson Dendy of Tupelo, Dan and Lulu Mixon Dendy of Houston; her 16 grandchildren; her 18 great-grandchildren; her great-great-grandchild; her sister, Mary Evelyn Boyd Matthews of Beaumont, TX; and her brother, William Riley Boyd of Center, TX.
