Harrington, Sara Sue - Mantee Sara Sue Mama Sue Scott Harrington, 96, died Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at Floy Dyer Manor in Houston.
She was born December 12, 1917, in Mantee to Robert Oliver Scott and Ethel Dale Stevens Scott. She was a homemaker and a member of Mantee Baptist Church.
Services are Thursday, June 5, 2014, at 3:00 PM at Mantee Baptist Church in Mantee with Rev. William Carpenter, Rev. Brian Tillman, and Rev. Terry Walton officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Mantee. Houston Funeral Home of Houston is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by her daughters, Dale and Woodrow Brown of Booneville, Jane and Eddie Norman of Mantee; her sons, Robert and Mary Harrington of Mantee, Scott and Lou Harrington of Mantee; her 11 grandchildren, and her 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Durell Harrington, her sisters, Ann Scott Davis, Ethel O. Scott and her 2 grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Shane Harrington, Todd Harrington, Ty Brown, Chase Brown, Chad Brown, Cole Norman, Rob Norman, and Brad Norman.
Visitation is Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Mantee Baptist Church from 2:00 PM until the 3:00 PM funeral service time.
