Willis, Sandra Nabors
- Houston Sandra Elaine Nabors Willis, 67, died Sunday, September 7, 2014, at NMMC in Tupelo.
She was born November 8, 1946, in Aberdeen, to Samuel Jackson Nabors and Esther Lavern Brewer. She was the Circuit Clerk for Chickasaw County for 23 years and a Houston Middle School teacher for 23 ½ years. She had a love for teaching and for her students. She was an MSU fan and a former Phi Mu President during her senior year at MSU. She was a member of Houston First United Methodist Church.
The memorial service is Tuesday, September 9, at 6:00 PM at Houston First United Methodist Church in Houston with Rev. Rex Wilburn, Dr. Randy Rinehart, and Rev. Steve Lampkin officiating.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Glenn Willis of Houston; her mother, Lavern Nabors Pulliam of Trebloc; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Charleen Willis of Houston; her children, Clint and Rebecca Pruett of Houston, Adam and Brooke Willis of Marion, AR, Glenda and Chris Burdine of Houston; her grandchildren, Kayla Pruett, Mollie Pruett, Braden Grove, Brandt Willis, Madeline Burdine, Walker Burdine; her sister, Donna Nabors Love of Batesville.
She was preceded in death by her father, Sammy Jack Nabors, and her brother, Sammy Nabors.
Visitation is Tuesday, September 9, from 3:30PM until the 6:00 PM memorial service at Houston First United Methodist Church.
