Mr. Russell Forrester passed from his Earthly home to his Heavenly home on September 6, 2022 at North Mississippi Medical Center-Tupelo. He was born Russell Edward Forrester on November 5, 1946 to Raleigh Edward and Opal Bennett Forrester in Webster County.

Russell graduated from Cumberland Highschool in 1965 and married the love of his life, Kathy Louise Sanford, August the same year. He was well known and very well loved throughout the communities of Webster county and Chickasaw County.

Russell was the kind of man that would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He was a kindhearted man that loved his family and friends whole heartedly. There will never be another like him.

Russell or as some know him "Milk Man" ran a wholesale milk route for 18 years before he started his logging career. He started his own business, S & F Logging in 1993 where he worked until he retired. He also served in the National Guard.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, September 8, 2022, at 2 PM at Mantee Baptist Church with Bro. Zach Sanford officiating. Visitation will be from 12-2 the day of the service at the church. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery after the service.

Mr. Forrester is survived by his wife, Kathy Sanford Forrester; three daughters, Melanie (John) Carter, Sonya (Bill) Gilliland, and Amber (Justin) Parker; grandchildren, Jake Huffman, Blair (Brent) Crimm, Carson (Hannah) Gilliland, Rylee Carter, Addie Parker, Hudson Parker, and Watson Parker; great-grandchildren, Kinsley Huffman, Brentlee Belle Crimm, Bristol Blair Crimm and Bettye Brooks Crimm; three sisters, Dean Datel of San Antonio, TX, Kaye (Richard) Sneed of Mount Belview, TX and Debe (John) McCarter of Mantee, MS.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Raleigh Edward and Opal Bennett Forrester.
