Ronald "Ronnie" Patterson Ellis

Saltillo, MS- Mr. Ronald "Ronnie" Patterson Ellis passed away on June 6, 2022 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. Mr. Ronnie was born September 12, 1947 to Lois Emmett and Annie Ellis in Okolona, MS. Mr. Ronnie was married to the love of his life, Marilyn Ellis, for 45 years and they raised three children together. He was a master carpenter and loved doing it for many years and after retirement he worked for Moore's 2 in Pontotoc, MS. He was a member of Calvary Assembly Worship Center in Plantersville, MS.

Funeral services will be Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Houston Funeral Home with Bro. Ben Raper, Sr. and Bro. Ben "Taffy" Raper, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Houston City Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM the day of service. Houston Funeral Home is in charge of the service.

Survivors include his wife of many years, Marilyn Ellis of Saltillo, MS; his daughters, Carly (Michael) Gurley of Booneville, MS, Lana Reynolds of Houston, MS; his sons, Ronald Kevin Ellis, Hayes (Kelly) Ellis of Kossuth, MS; his grandchildren, Marc Gurley, Jacob Gurley, , Emmy and Holden Reynolds, Olivia and Noah Ellis, Joseph, Maylee, and Cj Morgan, Katelynn Johnson, and Tiffany (Jacob) Smith and Children; his great-grandson, Grayson Gurley; one sister, Bettye Vinson of Louisiana; one brother, Joe Wade Ellis of Alabama; three sister in laws, Linda (Doug) McNatt, Nancy and Gen Ellis; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Lois and Annie Ellis; three brothers, William Robert "Bob" Ellis, James Harold "Skeet" Ellis, Emmett Gerald "Jake" Ellis; One Granddaughter, Vada Reynolds; one sister in law, Ann Ellis; and one brother in law, David Vinson.
