Berry, Roberta - Houston Annie Roberta Brown Berry, 90, passed away Friday, March 4, 2016 at Floy Dyer Manor after a brief illness. She was born December 4, 1925, the third of six children to Robert Gipson Brown and Annie Belle White Brown. She was a retired insurance salesperson and a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Houston.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 6, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Houston Funeral Home with Rev. Sammy McMillen officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Houlka.
Houston Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include daughters, Becky (Langston) Kilgore of Houston, Nancy (Jerry) Champion of Corpus Christi, TX; son, Doyle (Laurie) Berry of Seguin, TX; sister, Betty (George) Higginbotham of Pontotoc; brother, Bobby (Toni) Brown of Houlka; grandchildren, Todd (Lori) Kilgore, Tracey (Ray) Kilgore Campbell, Houston Berry, Mack Berry and Mason Berry; great-grandchildren, Beth Anne Kilgore, Leigh Ellen Kilgore, Ben Campbell, and Bekah Campbell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; the father of her three children, Doyle Berry, Sr.;. sisters, Mary Warrington and Amorette Linton and brother, Dale Brown.
Pallbearers are Todd Kilgore, Ray Campbell, Tommy Brown, Micah Brown, Marty Warrington and Mike Warrington.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Houston Funeral Home.
