Robert Lamar Beaty, age 84, passed away July 5, 2025 at home surrounded by his loved ones. Lamar was born December 9, 1940 to Kimball Beaty and Grace Wilson Beaty in Houston, Ms.

A Memorial service will be held August 16, 2025, at Houston First Methodist Church at 11 AM. Rev. David Upshaw and Dr. Randy Rhinehart will be officiating.

Lamar is survived by his wife, Sally Beaty of Houston, Ms, his son Robert (Katherine) Beaty of Houston, TX and a host of nieces and nephews.

Lamar was preceded in death by his parents Kimball Beaty, William and Grace Eaton, a daughter, Sandy Beaty and his sister, Minnie Jo Hill.
