Regina Hooper

Houston- Mrs. Regina Lynn Strickland Hooper, 61, passed on May 6, 2021 at her home in Houston, MS. Mrs. Hooper was born on May 28, 1959 in Rockford, IL to George Leonard Strickland and Billie Faye Shirley Strickland. She was a retired teacher`s assistant for Houlka Public School. Regina was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and she will be thoroughly missed by her sidekick, Cassidy.

A Memorial Service will be held for Mrs. Hooper on May 9, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. at the Victory Baptist Church in Smithville, MS.

Mrs. Hooper is survived by her husband of 36 years, Tony Hooper; her daughters, Cassidy Hooper of Houston, and Aja (Jason) Hughes of Clinton and her stepdaughter, Christy Warren of Guntown; her sister, Tammy (Jeff) Cummings of Brilliant, Alabama; her two brothers, Marty (Lorrie) Strickland of Brilliant, Alabama; and Joey Strickland also of Brilliant, Alabama; her grandchildren, Ethan Hughes, Caleb Hughes, Denver Hughes, McKenzie Bailey, and Josh Bailey; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Hooper is preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Zackary Hooper.
