Rebecca Ann Scott, age 80, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023 at her home in Houston. She was born Rebecca Ann Smith On June 3, 1943 at Sally Vaughn's home in Houston to Roscoe and Amorie Robinson Smith. She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church. She loved her years playing basketball in high school and sharing her stories. She was the director of nursing at Floy Dyer Manor for many years.

A Graveside service will be held Friday, November 17, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Crossroads Cemetery with Dr. Randy Rinehart officiating with music by Jordan Crawford. Houston Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Crawford, Bradley Crawford, Chance Crawford, Ty Bullock, Mike Williams, Joe Nichols, Clipper Nichols, Taton Bullock and Owen Crawford.

Ms. Becky is survived by her loving spouse of 45 years, Thomas Scott; her children, Sherry Crawford, Darrell (Marianne) Crawford, Randy Crawford; her adored grandchildren, Kenny (Jordan) Crawford, Liz (Ty) Bullock, Bradley (Amber) Crawford, Chance Crawford, Hope (Celebrity Howard) Crawford; her great-grandchildren, her joy, Addison, Taton, Avelyn, and Trey Bullock, Owen and Olivia Crawford, Annsley, Morgan and Jenna Crawford, Rylan, Kynleigh, Landyn Patterson, Rowyn Howard; her sisters, Rose (Kenneth) Nichols and Mary (David) Pierce; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe and Amorie Smith, her brothers Gene and Glyn Smith.

She loved the Lord and prayed diligently for all who do not know the Lord to find him.
