Davis, Raymond - Houston Harvey Raymond Davis, 94, died Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at Calhoun Health Services in Calhoun City.
He was born March 20, 1920, in Houston to Harvey Hardin Davis and Georgia May Stafford Davis. He was retired from Franklin Corporation. He was a WWII US Army Veteran, having received two Bronze Stars, a Combat Medical Badge, and a Bronze Indian Arrowhead.
Funeral services are Thursday, October 23, 2014, at 4:00 pm at Houston Funeral Home with Rev. Wade Mathis officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Woodland, MS.
He is survived by his brother, William Bill Davis of Woodland; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Davis, his brothers, James Davis, Doss Davis, Darrell Davis, and his sister, Doris Smith.
Visitation will be from 3:00 until the 4:00 pm funeral service time at Houston Funeral Home.
