Phillip Michael Sullivan

Mantee, MS- Phillip Sullivan, age 78, passed away on January 24, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Golden Triangle in Columbus, MS. He was born Phillip Michael Sullivan on October 16, 1946, to Willis John Sullivan and Grace Ethel Collum Sullivan in Birmingham, AL. He was a member of Meridian Methodist Church and attended Mantee Baptist Church. After graduating Phillip joined the Navy as a mechanic. Phillip was a retired truck driver and for many years even before retirement found a love for woodworking where he created many beautiful pieces.

A Funeral service will be held Monday, January 27, 2025, at Mantee Baptist Church at 3:00 PM with Bro. Reeves Garrett officiating. The family will receive visitors from 2:00 PM until the time of service that day. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Houston Funeral Home is honored to serve the Sullivan family.

Phillip is survived by his wife, Martha Sullivan of Mantee, MS; his three sons, Richard Sullivan of Nashville, TN, Michael Sullivan of Mantee, MS, Preston (Sally) Sullivan of Louisville, MS; and his three grandchildren, Wyatt Sullivan, Porter Sullivan and Anne Louise Sullivan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie John and Grace Ethel Sullivan.
