Patsy Joy Turner, 91, passed away Monday, August 19, 2024, at Diversicare of Eupora surrounded by her two children.  She was born December 29, 1932, in Webster County to the late Walter Owen Johnson and Marinda "Dotsy" Easterwood Johnson.  She was a member of Mantee Baptist Church, the Fidelis Sunday School Class, and a member of the Church Choir.  She married Kenneth Walker "Buddy" Turner, and they were married for 48 years. Together they owned Turner's Shell Station for many years.

Funeral Service will be held at Mantee Baptist Church on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 11:00am with Bro Steve Griffin officiating. Visitation will be at 10:00am until time of service. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.  Houston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by her daughter, Gloria Turner Brooks of Starkville, MS; her son, Kenneth Owen (Ken) Turner of Mantee, MS; her grandchildren, Brandon (Elizabeth) Turner of McLean, VA,  Blake (Mary) Brooks of Hattiesburg, MS, Ashley Brooks of Franklin, IN, Chase Brooks of Starkville, MS; her great grandchildren, Bradley Turner, Grace Turner, and Brooklyn Turner all of Tallahassee, FL; and her beloved sister, Nell Jones of Ackerman, MS.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Walker "Buddy" Turner, her parents, Walter Owen and Dotsy Johnson, her infant sister Dotty Ann Johnson, and her grandson, Stephen Turner.

The Pallbearers will be Bruce Johnson, Jody Johnson, Jeff Johnson, Wes Johnson, Jim Johnson, and Doug Wilson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Scott Jones, Bill Johnson, Terry Graham, Chad Bishop, and Morgan Clark.
