Ollie Loup

Houston- Mrs. Ollie Abernathy Loup, 91, passed away on June 8, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. Mrs. Loup was born in Itta Bena, MS on March 24, 1930 to Ramsey Abernathy and Ethel Leech. She was a retired chef and member of First United Methodist Church in Houston, MS. Mrs. Ollie Loup thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family and enjoying her passion for cooking.

Mrs. Loup is survived by her sons, John Loup of Houston, and Michael (Holly) Loup of Oklahoma, a host of grandchildren including Tonya Hopson of Houston; a host of great grandchildren, including Charlie (Abby) Hopson of Houston; and a host of great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Loup is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, John David Pittman, Jr., her second husband, Loyd Frances Loup and one son, Steve Loup.
