Ward, Nancy - McCondy, Nancy Jane Brown Ward, 89, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013, at her home in McCondy.
She was born February 11, 1924, in Chickasaw County to John Brown and Lizzie Huffman Brown. She was a homemaker and a member of Lawson Chapel Church of Christ.
Services are Monday, October 21, 2013, at 10:00 AM at Houston Funeral Home in Houston with Bro. Ernie Allmond officiating. Burial will follow at McCondy Baptist Cemetery in McCondy. Houston Funeral Home of Houston is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her daughter, Sara and Clyde Logan of McCondy; her granddaughter, Frances and Rodney Bridgman of McCondy; her great-grandson, Justin Bridgman of McCondy; and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Ward, her sister, Jackie Ward and her brothers, Joe Lee Brown, Tom Brown, Oren Brown, and Sam Brown.
Pallbearers are Rodney Bridgman, Justin Bridgman, Bryan Bridgman, Earl Brown, Russell Jolly, and Larry Allen.
Visitation is Sunday, October 20, 2013, from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Houston Funeral Home.
