Houk, Nancy - Houston- Nancy Jane Huffman Houk, 82, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. Mrs. Houk was born in Chickasaw County, Mississippi on September 24, 1934 to Dezi Lee Huffman and Eula Lee Griffin Huffman. She was a housewife and loving mother and grandmother. Mrs. Houk was a member of Old Montpelier Baptist Church in Clay County, MS. She was full of life, loved by all she knew, and left behind a legacy of loving everybody.
A Funeral Service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Houston Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Clegg officiating.
Houston Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her daughter, Maxine (Robert) Robbins of Houston, MS., her son, Malcom (Sherry) Houk of Hamilton, MS., her grandchildren, Dustin Morris, Lena Griffin, Patricia Houk, Rosie Hillhouse and Peewee Cohea, her great-grandchildren, Misty Hillhouse, Wendy Hillhouse, Nathan Dowdy, Austin Morris, Tyler Morris, Hailee Morris, Tytiana Wardlow, and Kenton Cohea, her great-great grandchildren, Sarah Dowdy, and Gracie LaShea Dowdy.
Nancy Houk is preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband, Malcom Mack Houk Sr., her son, Thomas Junior Houk, her granddaughter, Christina Christy May Houk, and her grandson, Robert Tyrone Robbins Jr.
Visitation with family will be Monday, September 25, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Houston Funeral Home in Houston, Mississippi.
Pallbearers will be, Jeremy Houk, Jamie Houk, Jeffery Houk, Eric Montgomery and Bubba Gregory.
