Coleman, Mitzi - Houston Mitzi Joy Finn Coleman, 55, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2016 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born August 27, 1960 in Houston to James Franklin Finn and Mary Ellen Blue Holder. She was a retired waitress and cook for 389 Grocery and a member of Thorn Church of God.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 28, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Thorn Church of God in with Rev. Arnold Amason and Rev. Al Gaspard officiating. Burial will follow at George s Chapel Cemetery in Thorn.
Houston Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include husband, Tony Coleman of Thorn; mother, Mary (Dean) Holder of Houston; daughter, Mary (Chris) Tedder of Bruce; son, James (Lana) Reynolds of Houston; sister, Deana (Mike) Gentry of Houston; brothers, Tim (Trisha) Finn, and Chris (Bridgett) Finn of Hatley; grandchildren, Danner Lee Tedder, George Dean Tedder, Jackson Blue Tedder, Garret Reynolds, Emmy Reynolds, Holden Reynolds and Vada Reynolds; step-mother, Becky Finn; and special friend Anna Owens of Houlka.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Mug Finn and uncles Tommy Finn and Billy Finn.
Pallbearers are Steven Crockett, Gary Allen, Van Blue, Johnny Blue, Bubba Blue and Matt Finn.
An Honorary Pallbearer will be Ricky Allen.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Houston Funeral Home and Sunday, February 28, 2016 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at Thorn Church of God.
