Burgess, Mickey - Houlka-Henry Michael Mickey Burgess, 66, passed away July 18, 2016, at his home in Houlka, MS. He was February 7, 1950 in Chickasaw County to John Burgess and Dorothy Luther Burgess. Mickey was a truck driver and member of the Mississippi National Guard.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 3 P.M. at His Grace Ministries in Houlka, with Bro. Tim Brown and Bro. George Bailey officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Old Houlka, MS.
Houston Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
He is survived by his sisters: Bonnie Brown of Houlka, MS, Zadie (George) Bailey of West Point, MS and Jacqui Letellier of Bruce, MS; Brothers: Rickey (Ronnie Sue) Burgess of Houlka, MS and Johnny (Ruthie) Burgess of Benton, AR and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers- Larry (Bubba) Burgess Sr. and Kenneth Burgess.
Pallbearers will be Vic Holladay, Tim McCulloch, David Ray, Troy Hinton, Matt Brown, Lee Burgess, and Michael Paden.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 21, 2016, from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at His Grace Ministries on the square in Houlka.
