Alpharetta, GA- Mrs. Maudie Dee Melton Wooldridge, 99, passed away Monday, February 18, 2019, at her home in Alpharetta, Georgia. Visitation will be Saturday, February 23, 2019, from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M., at Houston Funeral Home. Services will be at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Houston Funeral Home in Houston with Dr. Randy Rinehart officiating. Burial will be at Ellzey Cemetery in Calhoun County, Mississippi. Houston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Wooldridge was born April 19, 1919 in Calhoun County, Mississippi to James Claude Melton and Jenny Weaver Melton. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Wooldridge is survived by her daughters, Sara Louise (Johnny) Rhodes of Munford, TN., and Elizabeth Ann (John) Payne of Dacula, GA.; one son, Raymond Atwell (Diana) Wooldridge of Atlanta, GA.; and nine grandchildren.

Mrs. Wooldridge was preceded in death by her late husband, Atwell Wooldridge; her parents, sisters, Audie, Josie, Syble, Macie, and Annie Melton; and her brothers, Granville, Leland and Claudie Melton.
