Mrs. Mary Ann Vance, age 84, passed from her earthly home surrounded by family on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at OCH Regional Hospital in Starkville, MS. She was born April 14, 1940, to George Ordell and Irene Funderburk Washington in Houlka, MS. She worked as a homemaker and seamstress for many years.

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at 11 AM at Houston Funeral Home with Bro Scott Samuell officiating. Visitation will be from 9 AM until time of service that day. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Houlka, MS.

She is survived by her daughters, Myra Reeves of Houston, MS, Peggy (Robert) Howard of Conway, AR, Brenda Burns of Mountain View, AR; her son, Jack (Marshia) Vance of Mountain View, AR; her sisters, Martha (Jerry) Vance of Houlka, MS, Sarah Lancaster of Houlka, MS; her brothers, George (Mildred) Washington of Woodland, MS, Terry (Pat) Washington of Houlka, MS, and James (Judy) Washington of Houston, MS; her grandchildren, Jonathan (Chris) Reeves, Matthew Reeves; great-grandchildren, Jayden Reeves, Tyler Gingras, and Charlie Williams all of Starkville, MS and many more grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Howard Reeves and Curtis Vance; her son, Jimmy Reeves; her parents, Ordell and Irene Washington; her sister, Faye Washington and her brother, Bobby Washington.
