Scott, Mary Glenda - Houston Mary Glenda Park Scott, 72, peacefully passed away in the presence of her family Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at Floy Dyer Manor in Houston.
She was born August 8, 1942, in Tennessee to Glen Earnie Park and Sallie Evans Park.
She was a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an avid cook, and often cooked for others. She loved playing Bridge and watching her grandchildren play sports. She was a devoted follower of the Mississippi State Bulldogs. She was also a Mary Kay consultant for 15 years. She was a member of Houston Presbyterian Church.
The funeral service will be Saturday December 27, 2014, at 2:00 PM at Houston Funeral Home in Houston with Rev. Don Locke officiating. Burial will follow at Houston Cemetery in Houston.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Robert H. Bob Scott of Houston; her daughters, Sallie (Mike) Pierce of Natchitoches, LA, Mary Claire (Cass) Tapley of Houston; her son, Rob Scott of Macon, GA; her grandchildren, Mary Grace Pierce, Scott (Katie) Pierce, Chloe Tapley, Magen Tapley, Channing Tapley, Ethan Scott, Isabella Scott, and Graham Scott.
Pallbearers will be family members.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 27, 2014, from 12:00 Noon until the 2:00 pm funeral service time at Houston Funeral Home.
