Burgess, Mary Rhodes - 84 of Houston, a retired employee of the Franklin Corparation , died at the Sancturary Hospice House in Tupelo on Sunday , September 11, 2011.Visitation is scheduled for 5-7 p.m. Monday , September 12, 2011 at Houston Funeral HomeFuneral Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday , September 13 , 2011, at Houston Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Terry Rhodes. She is the widow of Mr Edward Burgess and the mother of Patricia Southerland of Houston and Rodney and his wife Regina Burgess of Jackson, four grandchildren and three great grand children . She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Myra Handcock,Esta Clark and Martha McKibben and brothers, Charles, Johnny, Cecil and James Rhodes.
