Gwendolyn Pearson, age 89, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025, in Houston, MS. Born Martha Gwendolyn Pearson on February 7, 1936, to Fred Augus and Mildred Pearson, she was a cherished member of the Church of the Nazarene and a dedicated retired mathematics teacher.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Nazarene in Houston, MS, with Bro. Scott Samuel and Bro. Johnny Cherry officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at Chickasaw Memorial Gardens.

She is survived by her sister, Bess (Rev. Charles) Kirby, and her brother, Fred A. Pearson, Jr.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Fred Augus and Mildred Pearson.
