Blakeney, Martha - Houston- Martha Nell Yeager Blakeney, 81, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. Mrs. Blakeney was born on December 24, 1935 in Mississippi to Eddie Yeager and Christine Griffin Yeager. She was a pharmacist associate for Walmart for Houston Walmart and she also worked in the cafeteria for many years for Hamilton School in Hamilton, MS.

Funeral Service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Houston Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Cherry officiating.
Burial will be at Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery in Cedar Bluff, Mississippi.
Houston Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her sons, Kenneth (AudreyMae) Blakeney of Raceland, LA., Mike Blakeney of Cedar Bluff, MS., Doug Blakeney of Houston, MS., and Eddie (Tammy) Blakeney of Calhoun City, MS., seven grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Martha Blakeney is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Blakeney, and her daughter-in-law, Barbara Blakeney.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 20, 2017 from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Houston Funeral Home.
