Marjorie Williams passed from her earthly home May 11, 2023 at Shearer-Richardson Nursing home. She was born September 6, 1937 to Roy Lee and Dovie Caples Williams. She was a member of Schooner Valley Baptist Church. She loved her church and church family just as her own family including her baby doll.

A funeral service will be held Monday, May 15, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Schooner Valley Baptist Church with visitation from 1:00 PM to time of service and burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Houlka, MS. Bro. Linn Hughes will officiate. Houston Funeral Home is honored to serve the Williams family. Pallbearers will be nephews and great nephews.

She is survived by her two sisters, Christine Kirby of Oxford, Ms and Doris (Truman) Presley of Nettleton, MS; two brothers, Morris (Belinda) Williams of Amory, Ms and Cecil (Linda) Williams of Houlka, Ms; and a host of nieces and nephews that loved her very much.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Roy Lee and Dovie Williams and two brothers, Roy Lee Williams, Jr. and Herbert E. Williams.
