Marion House
Houston- Marion Russell House, age 78, passed away at Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, VA on December 11, 2017 with her family at her side.
Born October 21, 1939 in Houston, MS, she lived in Houston and Laurel, MS and had recently moved to Virginia Beach, VA. Marion was a devoted member of First Baptist Church in Laurel, MS for 30 years. She was an active Duplicate Bridge player and had obtained the achievement of Gold Life Master.
Survivors include her twin brother, James Randle Russell and his wife Ann of Destin, FL, son, Frank Michael House of Suwanee, GA, daughter, Suzanne House Roscher of Virginia Beach, VA, son, John Randle House of Phoenix, AZ, grandson, Michael Howard House of Suwanee, GA, and many nieces and nephews.
Her interests included family, gardening, bridge, and reading. She devoted much of her time to friends and family and church. She was a true Southern lady who never met a stranger and was loved by all.
A funeral service will be held at Houston Funeral Home on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 12:00 PM. Visiting hours are between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM with Dr. Daniel Heeringa officiating.
A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church Chapel in Laurel, MS on December 17, 2017 at 2:00 PM.
