Armstrong, Lynette - Houston - Lynette Big Mama Hardin Robertson Armstrong, 73, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Dugan Nursing Home in West Point, MS. She was born May 10, 1941 in Houston, MS to James Otis Red Hardin and Malinda Pauline Coyle Hardin. She was a retired shop manager for Royal Trucking in West Point.
Funeral services are Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 11:30 AM at Houston Funeral Home in Houston, MS with Rev. Steve Lampkin officiating and Mitzi Thompson delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow at Chickasaw Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Houston.
Survivors include her daughters, Mitzi (Hunter) Thompson of West Point, Myra (Gary Dunc ) Duncan of West Point, Celia Miller of Flora, MS and Sophia Miller of West Point; sons, Troy Miller of West Point, and Ed (Jo Alice) Miller of West Point; brother Jimmie (Tracey) Hardin of Arlington, Texas; Grandchildren, Blair (Billy) Thompson, Hunter Coleman, Maggie (Craig) Wood, Holley Miller, and Montana Miller; Great-Grandchildren, Sara Dudley Thompson; sisters-in-law, Brenda (Frank) Woodruff and Carolyn (Billy Carl) Irwin and their famlies; cousins, Sissy (Gene) Dobbs and Rudolph Mixon.
She was preceded in death her parents; her husband Robert C. Bobby Robertson, Jr.; daughter, Annette Annie Robertson; and brother J.E. Hardin.
Pallbearers are: James E. Jay Hardin, Jr., Trampis Hardin, Troy Miller, Ed Miller, Jordan Hardin and Justin Hardin.
Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM service time at Houston Funeral Home.
