He was born June 11, 1936, in Clay County to Luther Ell Whitt Sr. and Janie Mae Harmon Whitt. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Joyce McQuary Whitt, his son Tracy (Hazel) Whitt and his daughter Emily (Bill) Peel all of Houston. Bully had 6 grandchildren who lovingly referred to him as Papa - Ben, Lindsey, and Colton Peel and Ellen, Anna Leslie and Jackson Whitt. He is also survived by one sister, Ila Mae (Harry) Robinson and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice Harmon and Florence Rambo; two brothers, James Wayne Whitt and Lonnie Whitt.
