Lillie Frances Wiggs passed from her earthly home May 20, 2023 at her home in Columbus, MS. She was born Lillie Frances Newell on December 5, 1927 to Ruble Lee and Mary Lois Newell. She loved her family and will be missed tremendously.

A funeral service will be held Monday, May 22, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Houston Funeral Home with Bro. Patrick Collins officiating and burial following at Rose Hill Cemetery in Houlka, MS. Visitation will be Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 4-6 PM at Houston Funeral Home. Houston Funeral Home is honored to serve the Wiggs family.

Survivors include her daughters, Jean (Willie) McVay of Houlks, MS, Janet (Tom) Harsin of Sheriden, TX, Debra Wiggs of Randolph, MS, Tina (Larry) Stegall of Columbus, MS, and Donna Wiggs of Houlka, MS; her two sons Johnny Wiggs and Jerry Wiggs, both of Houlka, MS and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by her husband of many years, John Henry Wiggs, her parents, Ruble and Lois Newell; three sons, Billy Fred Wiggs, Tommy Gene Wiggs, and Jim B. Wiggs; and two daughters, Barbara Stegall and Mary Jane Mooneyham.
