John David Loup, age 77, passed away on February 23, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born on November 23, 1947, to Loyd Frances and Ollie Abernathy Loup in Louisiana. He was a retired EMT and he served the United States Marine Corp for four years.

He is survived by his daughters, Tonya Hopson of Houston, MS and Johnnie Gayle Eaton of Kentucky; his eight grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; and his brother, Michael (Holly) Loup of Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Loup, his son, Richard Loup and his brother Steve Loup.
