Wiggs, Joe - 74, of Houston, a retired barber and farmer, died at his home on Monday, May 6, 2013.Visitation is 5:00 until 7:00 PM Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at Houston Funeral Home. The funeral will be Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Houston Funeral Home with Rev. Don Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Chickasaw Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his wife, Mary Jane Cox Wiggs of Houston; his son, Eddie Joe and Carol Wiggs of Houston; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Wiggs of Houston, Alyssa Alford of Houston, Josh and Meghon Alford of Jonesboro, AR, Jody Alford and fiancée, Kelli Boatner of Houston, and Jerritt Alford of Houston; his sisters, Shirley Hubbard of Derma, Louise Smith of Houston, Patricia Marshall of Calhoun City; his brothers, Jimmy D. Wiggs of Jackson, Sam L. Wiggs of West Point, Robert Wiggs of the Atlanta Community, Jerry Wiggs of the Atlanta Community, Larry Wiggs of Calhoun City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Hosea Lee Wiggs, and his daughter, Melissa Alford.
