Kerry Joe Jernigan, 56, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2019, at United Methodist Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Joe was born in Houston, Mississippi on March 12, 1963. He was a humble, loving, soft-spoken and kindhearted gentleman. He was loved by anybody- family, friends and horsemen alike. He was soulmate and best friend to Kris Enman. He was a loving partner, father, friend and sportsman. His passions also included hunting, and fishing. His most sought love was his love for horses.

Funeral Services will be held at Houston Funeral Home in Houston, Mississippi on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. with Dr. Edward Smith officiating.

Burial will be at Asbury Cemetery in Van Vleet, Mississippi.

Houston Funeral Home will be in charge arrangements.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 11, 2019 at Houston Funeral Home in Houston from 1:00 P.M. until time of service, 3:00 P.M.

Pallbearers will be Robby Blade, Ken Butler, Adam Winfield, Dillon Sawtelle, Mark Sawtelle, and Dwayne Perry.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Reed, Brock Carter and David Rhodes.
