Joan Turner

Eupora- Formerly of Pearl River, LA- Mrs. Joan Rita Bolotte Turner, 80, passed away on January 10, 2022, at her home in Eupora, Mississippi. Mrs. Turner was born on January 23, 1941, in New Orleans, LA to Clarence Joseph Bolotte and Viola Marie Cadiere Bolotte. She was a homemaker. She was a loving wife, a doting mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be immensely missed by her family and her friends.

Private Family Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Houston Funeral Home in Houston, MS.

Private Family Visitation will be on January 12, 2022, at Houston Funeral Home in Houston, MS.

Burial will be at Oak Forest Cemetery in Randolph, Mississippi.

Houston Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Turner is survived by her Husband of 64 years, J.R. Turner of Pearl River, LA, her daughters, Catherine (David) Hazelbaker of Slidell, LA, Susan (David) Howell of Pearl River, LA, and Alida (Kirk) Chauffe of Slidell, LA; her sons, Joseph (Shannon) Turner of Pearl River, LA, and Donald (Cindy) Turner of Pearl River, LA; her sister-in-law, Sandra Stein of Houma, LA; her grandchildren, David (June) Howell, Jr., Shawntel (Danial) Duhon, Megan (Robert) McGuiness, Felisha Woods, Jacob (Nikki) Turner, Jeremy (Ashley) Arabie, and John (Amber) Thornhill; her great-grandchildren, Kilie Duhon, David John Howell, Danial Duhon, Jr., Kacelyn Duhon, Johnathan Howell, Robert McGuiness, Andrea Arabie, Jenna Arabie, and Oakley Thornhill.

Mrs. Turner is preceded in death by her parents, her paternal grandparents, Alida Daigle Bolotte and Justillian Bolotte; her maternal grandparents, Jennie Pitre Cadiere and Thomas Cadiere; her son, Patrick Turner; her daughter, Margaret Turner; her brother, Henry Stein; her sister, Gail Robichaux, and her granddaughter, Jennifer Turner.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Turner, Donald Turner, David Howell, Danial Duhon, David Hazelbaker, Kirk Chauffe, David Howell, Jr., and Jacob Turner.
