Bishop, Jimmy - Byhalia James Micah Jimmy Bishop, 51, died Friday, October 18, 2013, at Baptist Hospital East in Memphis.
He was born October 27, 1961, in Texas to James K. Bishop and Faye Shirley Bishop. He was a buyer for Jabil Circuits in Olive Branch and was a member of Houlka Baptist Church.
Services are Monday, October 21, 2013, at 2:00 PM at the Collums Cemetery Pavilion in Houlka with Rev. Donald Holder and Rev. David Blackwell officiating. Burial will follow at Collums Cemetery. Houston Funeral Home of Houston is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his mother, Faye Bishop of Houlka; his sister, Toni and Bobby Brown of Houlka; his niece, Rhianna and William McClellan of Pontotoc; his nephews, Gregory and Daphne King of Houston, Micah Brown of Houlka; his great-nieces, Maddie King, Isabella King, Arlee McClellan, Jacee McClellan, great-nephew, Kacen McClellan, his aunt, Dorothy Williams.
He was preceded in death by his father, James K. Bishop and his grandparents, Clara and R. R. Shirley and Floy and Vard Bishop.
Pallbearers are William McClellan, John Collums, Gregory King, Jimmy Wayne Collums, Andrew Pouncey, and Bobby Brown.
Visitation will be Monday, October 21, 2013, from 1:00 PM until the 2:00 PM funeral service time at Collums Cemetery at the pavilion.
