Hill, James - Houston James David Buddy Hill, 80, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice. He was born April 15, 1935 in Luxora, Arkansas to Marvin Hill and Dolly Self Hill. He was a retired commercial truck driver and a member of New Wine Fellowship Church. He was a US Airforce Veteran and was an avid horseman and cattleman. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren and was a friend to all.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 11, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Houston Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Kelly officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Woodland.

Survivors include daughter, Teresa Hill Doss of San Antonio, TX; step-daughter, Angie (Martin) Fugett of Vardaman; step-son, David Ward; grandchildren, Brad (Mari) Fairley, Brock (Tabitha) Fairley, Chase (Beka) Ward, Joey (Amanda) Ward, Jessica Fugett Marion and Jordan Fugett; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Fairley, Isabella Ward, and Isaiah Ward, Bryanna Ward and Grey Ward.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Helen Gaskin Hill; daughter, Janice Hill; one brother and one sister; and great-grandson, Isaac Ward.
Pallbearers are Brad Fairley, Brock Fairley, Joey Ward, Chase Ward, Mitch Caples and Ricky Rowe.
Honorary Pallbearers are Tony Jones, David Rhodes, Scott Samuels, Lee Womack and Keith Parham.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Houston Funeral Home.
