Hulette Marie Miller Murphree, 76, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi. She was born June 17, 1942 in Mississippi to Gilbert Harold Miller and Evelyn Wigginton Miller. Mrs. Murphree was a retired seamstress for Aarons Cleaners and a member of Algoma Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, sister and grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter, Mattie (Anthony) Jones of Pontotoc, MS., her sister, Kattie (Earl) Rush of Pontotoc, MS., one brother, Ottis Miller of Amory, MS., and one grandchild Reid Jones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her late husband, Kenneth William Murphree, and one sister, Faye Alexander.

Visitation will be 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Houston Funeral Home in Houston, Mississippi.

Houston Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at the Houston Funeral Home with Bro. Don Smith officiating.

Burial will be at Pine Crest Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun City, Mississippi.

Pallbearers will be Walter Chittom, Harry Corder, Landis Fair, Daniel Stegall, Kevin Foster, and Julius Stahl.
