Griffin, Henry - Houston- Henry Franklin Griffin, 80, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at his home in Houston, Mississippi. Mr. Griffin was born in Houston, Mississippi on October 13, to 1937 George Franklin Jim Griffin and Ludene Long Griffin. Henry Griffin was a retired truck driver for Franklin Manufacturing in Houston.
A Memorial Service will be at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Macedonia Methodist Church in Houston with Rev. Steve Lampkin officiating.
Houston Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Colburn Griffin of Houston, his daughters, Wanda (Doug) Sweeney of Okolona, Kim (Joe) Sellers of Houston, Alisha (Jeff) Rimmer of Amory, one brother, Ted (Jan) Griffin of Houston, and his grandchildren, Stephanie Carlisle (Eric) Larsen, Clark Carlisle, Kayla Pruett, Madison Sellers, Katie Winters, Jules Rimmer, Dillon Rimmer, and one great-grandson, Easton Shields.
Henry Griffin is preceded in death by his parents, and his son-in-law, Chuck Carlisle.
Visitation with family will be Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Macedonia Methodist Church in Houston.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Men of Macedonia Methodist Church.
