Brown, Henry - Houston Henry Foley Brown, 63, died Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo.
He was born March 16, 1951, in Meridian to Gaines Andrew Brown, Sr. and Mary B. Moore Brown. He was a Train Master for Kansas City Southern Railroad for 39 years and a member of First Baptist Church in Houston.
Services will be Friday, June 20, 2014, at 10:00 AM at Houston Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Heeringa officiating. Burial will follow at Houston Cemetery in Houston. Houston Funeral Home in Houston is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his daughters, Jennifer Anne (William) Gray of Houston, Deborah Lynn (Mike) Croft of Caledonia; his brothers, Harry M. (Kathy) Brown of Park Ridge IL, and Gaines Andrew (Gail) Brown, Jr. of Spring, TX; his grandchildren, Barrett Gray, Chelsea Gray, and Faith Croft; his mother-in-law, Etheleen Blanton of Houston; and his canine companion, Belle.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Brown on December 28, 2009, and his parents.
Pallbearers are Clyde Dyson, Larry Arrington, Jonathan Blankenship, David Thomas, Greg Pepper, and John Lee Lyles. Honorary pallbearers are Russell Jolly, Tommy Futral, Tommy Criddle, and Tony Uhiren.
Visitation is Thursday, June 19, 2014, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Houston Funeral Home.
