Forrester, Hazel - Eupora- Hazel Laverne Dalton Forrester, 96, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora, MS. Mrs. Forrester was born on March 6 ,1921 in Keizer, Arkansas to Muldrew Dalton and Lula Dalton. She was a seamstress for Dendy Department Store in Houston, Mississippi. Hazel was a loving grandmother, and avid sports fanatic and member of Mantee Baptist Church where she was very involved with WMU. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, reading books and enjoyed cooking.
Funeral Service will be at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Mantee Baptist Church with Bro. William Carpenter and Bro. Steve Griffin officiating.
Burial will be at Wake Forrest Cemetery in Dancy, Mississippi.
Houston Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangments.
Survivors include her daughter, Dee (Haven) Ellison of Fulton, MS., two sons, Jimmy Forrester of Eupora, MS and Larry (Janis) Forrester of Memphis, TN., 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Hazel Forrester is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Forrester, her son, Randall Keith Forrester, her grandson, Randy Forrester, seven sisters, and one brother.
Pallbearers will be Greg Turner, Zach Rhyne, Eddie Dewberry, Charlie Forrester, John Harber, John McCarter.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 6, 2017 from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Mantee Baptist Church.
