Harold Johnson
Houston- Harold Daron "Doodler" Johnson, 78, passed away Monday, December 11, 2017, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi. He was born August 4, 1939 in Chickasaw County, Mississippi to Claude Gilbert Johnson and Rena Mae Moore Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a retired general contractor and owned his own construction business.

The Funeral Service will be Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Houston Funeral Home in Houston with Rev. Billy Martin officiating.

Burial will be at Georges Chapel Cemetery in Houston, Mississippi.

Houston Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Poyner Johnson of Houston, MS., four daughters, Carol Lamb of Oxford, MS, Lori (Kelly) Fielder of Dallas, TX, Kim Lee of Houston, MS, and Christy (Josh) Robbins of Pontotoc, MS, two step-daughters, Betty Collins of Baton Rouge, LA, and Peggy (Preston) Harrison of Toccopola, MS, one sister, Lucille Martin of Houston, MS, and one brother, Bobby (Elizabeth) Johnson of Houston, MS, his grandchildren, James Daron "J.D." (Lauren) Johnson, April Nicole Oury, Casey Nicole Fielder, Chance Robert Fielder, Lauren Lee, Mathew Lee, Kamron Johnson, Taylin Crowley, Laura Ann Gann, Jonathon Robbins, Shane Robbins, his step-grandchildren, Alison Nicole Campbell, Ashley Paige Mitchell, Hunter Trey Stafford, Trace Collins, and Erika Leighann Pearson, three great-grandchildren, Paxton Oury, Georgia Johnson, Rylie Ainsworth, and four step great- grandchildren, Thomas Adam Campbell, Anna Carol Campbell, Elizabeth Grace Pearson, and Kooper Hayes Pearson.

Mr. Johnson is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Thomas "Sister" Johnson, and Billie Jean Johnson,

Pallbearers will be J.D. Johnson, Kelly Fielder, Josh Robbins, Bennie Neal, and Danny Crockett.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Houston Funeral Home in Houston, Mississippi.
