Houston Grace Marie Griffin, 81, passed away at her home in Houston on Thursday, December 25, 2014.
She was born July 31, 1933, in Houston to Melia Alma Griffin. She was retired from Franklin Mfg. and was a faithful member of Macedonia United Methodist Church.
The funeral service will be Saturday, December 27, 2014, at 10:00 AM at Macedonia United Methodist Church in Houston with Rev. Steve Lampkin and Keith Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Houston. Houston Funeral Home in Houston is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her first cousins, Nelson Griffin of Potts Camp, Dorothy Walls of Vardaman, Randy Griffin, Pauline Brassfield, Kay Martin, Henry Griffin, Ted Griffin, William Griffin, all of Houston, Bobby Huffman of Houlka, Georgia Scott, Mary Griffin of Tupelo, Gladys Smith, Geneva Rogers, Ruby Stewart of Houston, and a special friend, Clara Mae Boyce of Houston, and her church family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Melia Alma Griffin.
Visitation is Friday, December 26, 2014, from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at Houston Funeral Home and from 9:00 am until the 10:00 funeral service time at Macedonia United Methodist Church at Houston Funeral Home.
